Amelie has her own very fabulous world. She loves the little things, the quiet tones and the delicate gestures. Amelie has her head above the clouds, yet has both feet on the ground. Her little universe is populated by suicidal goldfish, failed geniuses, long-suffering hypochondriacs, and other bizarre characters. When one day she decides to enter the lives of her fellow human beings as a fairy godmother, she knows exactly what to do: she sends a garden gnome on a world tour, conjures up love letters that have been lost for decades, and becomes a guardian and avenging angel all in one. Only when it comes to her own happiness does Amelie get in her own way. And when she falls in love with the shy Nico, she hardly knows what to do - until a good spirit helps her on her way...
